New Farmers. The CAP and the challanges of European Agriculture – the artesanal pasta factory

61-year-old Alberto Agusta, belongs to a family of farmers who have been land owners for generations. He grew fond of the countryside and still remembers when his dad Salvatore let him get into his truck. At 23, together with his brother Vincenzo, he took the reins of the Mondello Feud Consortium (in Sicilia italian region) which produces chickpeas and lentils and other fodder crops . Alberto has brought to life a short and controlled system for the production and marketing of high-quality pasta.
