New Farmers. The CAP and the challanges of European Agriculture – Sustainable irrigation

Mauro Marchi, with his inseparable four-pawed friend Rambo, runs a farming company together with his wife Roberta and his brother Claudio: 380 hectares of land, partly their own property and partly rented, a nice portion of flatland in Bologna (Emilia-Romagna Region in Italy), divided between organic cultivations and conventional ones: medicinal herbs, potatoes, chickpeas, peas, sunflowers, wheat and corn.
He uses modern techniques for sustainable irrigation.
