New Farmers: the CAP and the challanges of European Agriculture. 2019/2020
In Taglio di Po (in Veneto region) we meet Giorgio Uccellatori, whose
story has been tightly bonded to that of rice fields for generations. He runs an estate, Tenuta Ca’ Vendramin together with his family, where he cultivates crops, cereals such as corn, durum and soft wheat, barley, soy, sugarbeet and most importantly this is where rice is processed in its full production chain: from planting to packaging with special attention paid to safeguarding the environment.
